DaisyPreschoolBKK1DaisyPreschoolBKKForest & Jungle Week: A Journey into Nature and Adventure (1/2) What an exciting week our little explorers had during Forest & Jungle Week! through stories, songs, puppet shows, and group discussions. They loved meeting animals such as bears, rabbits, foxes, birds, and other woodland friends while learning about their homes and habitats. The children enjoyed a variety of hands-on activities using natural materials such as leaves, sticks, flowers, water, and soil. Through sensory play and exploration, they discovered different textures, colors, and sounds found in nature. Creativity was everywhere as the children made camping lanterns, created nature-inspired artwork, and built funny nature faces using leaves and flowers. These activities helped develop fine motor skills while encouraging imagination and self-expression. Outdoor adventures were a special part of the week. The children became little explorers as they searched for hidden animals, completed adventure challenges, played in the stream, and went on nature hunts. These experiences helped build confidence, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a love for the outdoors. One of the highlights of the week was our Forest Adventure & Picnic Day. The children enjoyed outdoor exploration, water play, adventure stations, and a special picnic with their friends. It was wonderful to see them sharing, laughing, and creating happy memories together. Most importantly, the children learned valuable life skills throughout the week, including sharing, taking turns, caring for nature, and working together with friends. Forest & Jungle Week was filled with fun, discovery, creativity, and adventure. We are so proud of our little explorers and look forward to many more exciting learning journeys ahead! Daisy was filled with laughter, Thai music, delicious food, and beautiful cultural experiences as children explored the fun and traditions of Thailand’s beloved Songkran Festival. The children came dressed in lovely traditional Thai outfits, adding bright colors and festive spirit to the day. Together, we celebrated Thai culture through music, movement, pretend play, and water activities in a warm and happy atmosphere. One of the highlights of the day was our cheerful Ram Wong dance celebration, where children danced together to traditional Thai songs and enjoyed moving rhythmically with their friends. Smiles and laughter filled the room as children gently applied soft fragrant powder on each other’s cheeks, a classic and playful Songkran tradition. Our Daisy “Temple Fun Fair” also featured a mini Thai market where children could explore and “buy” delicious fair foods and drinks. The little ones had so much fun choosing from: • Seasoned grilled eggs • Grilled meatballs • Shaved ice desserts • Chrysanthemum drink • Watermelon smoothies Through pretend shopping and role play, children practiced communication, social interaction, decision-making, and early math skills while enjoying the lively atmosphere of a traditional Thai temple fair. The children also took part in a beautiful Rod Nam Dam Hua activity by gently pouring scented water over the Buddha statue, learning about respect, gratitude, and the meaningful traditions of Songkran in Thai culture. Of course, no Songkran celebration would be complete without water play! The children happily participated in gentle Songkran water activities, splashing, laughing, and cooling off together while learning about the importance of kindness, sharing blessings, and celebrating Thai traditions with respect and joy. Our Songkran celebration was not only full of fun, but also a meaningful opportunity for children to connect with Thai culture, community traditions, and joyful childhood memories together. 🌺💧✨ Khunkru If26/05/2026DaisyPreschoolBKKDaisyPreschoolBKKSongkran Festival at Daisy: Temple Fun Fair (2/2)26/05/2026DaisyPreschoolBKK1DaisyPreschoolBKKThe Importance of Rest Time & Calm Time in Early Childhood At Daisy, we believe that rest is just as important as play and learning. Young children experience so many emotions, movements, sounds, and discoveries throughout the day. Calm time gives them a gentle pause, a moment to slow down, regulate their emotions, and recharge both their bodies and minds. For young children, rest time is not only about sleep. It is about creating a peaceful space where children can feel safe, relaxed, and connected to themselves. During early childhood, children’s brains and bodies are developing rapidly. Quiet moments throughout the day help children: • regulate emotions and reduce overstimulation • develop self-awareness and self-regulation • improve focus and concentration • support healthy brain development • restore energy after active learning and play • feel calm, secure, and emotionally balanced Even children who no longer nap still benefit greatly from having time to rest their bodies in a peaceful environment. At Daisy, we respect every child’s individual needs. Some children may fall asleep, while others simply enjoy lying quietly and relaxing their bodies. Both are equally valuable. Our Calm Time Ritual “Sending the Stars to Sleep” ⭐ Each month, we thoughtfully create calming activities connected to our classroom themes. This month, our calm time ritual is called “Sending the Stars to Sleep.” The children gather together in a circle and begin by counting the paper stars one by one. After counting, each child gently sends a star through a small paper boat toward the “star bed.” After each star has been gently tucked into bed, the children softly sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star together. During the song, drops of color are slowly placed into oil and water, creating gentle swirling movements that the children quietly watch with wonder and calmness. Once every star has been tucked into bed, the children quietly walk to their own resting mats. Children are welcome to sleep or simply lie down and rest their bodies peacefully. During this time, the classroom atmosphere becomes soft and calm. The lights are gently dimmed, quiet nature music begins to play, and the soft sound of flowing water fills the room. Teachers remain nearby to provide comfort and reassurance. After a full morning of learning, creating, exploring, and playing together, the classroom often looks like a busy library that has been loved and used by many people throughout the day, and now it needs a little organizing again. Calm time allows both the space, and the children within it, to slowly breathe and settle. At Daisy, calm time is not about forcing children to sleep. It is about teaching children how to listen to their bodies, slow down, and care for their emotional well-being, an important life skill that will grow with them for years to come. Khunkru If25/05/2026DaisyPreschoolBKK1DaisyPreschoolBKKWhat Happens When You Add Water, Ice, and Curious Kids? 🌿 Sensory Play at Daisy: Learning Through Everyday Moments It’s a bright morning at Daisy. During outdoor play, a group of toddlers gather around a small pool. Inside, there are simple tools: cups, bowls, spoons, strainers, and small animal toys. The children are immediately drawn in. They begin by exploring freely. Some lean forward, trying to dip their bodies into the water, curious to feel it on their skin. Others reach in with their hands, splashing gently, watching how the water moves. The teacher observes quietly at first. Then, slowly, she begins to guide, demonstrating how to pour water from a cup, how to scoop with a spoon, how to use a strainer to catch floating toys. The children watch closely. One by one, they begin to try. Some pour water back and forth, repeating the action again and again. Some use the strainer to carefully scoop animal toys. Others pick up the animals and drop them into the water repeatedly, listening to the soft “plop” sound each time. They are focused, Engaged, Fully present. Nearby, another small tub offers a different experience. Inside are blocks of ice, with tiny animals frozen within, waiting to be rescued. The children gather around again, each approaching the challenge in their own way. Some use their hands, trying to free the animals. Some pour water over the ice, observing how it slowly melts. And then, one child pauses. Instead of using his hands, he gently places his foot onto the ice. He stands still for a moment, feeling the cold sensation. No instruction was given. No “right way” was shown. Yet in this moment, he is discovering something deeply meaningful, through his own curiosity and experience. 🌱 Why These Moments Matter To adults, activities like water and ice play may seem simple. But for young children, these are powerful learning experiences. Through sensory play, children begin to: • connect words with real experiences, such as cold, wet, splash • understand cause and effect, what happens when they pour, drop, or melt • develop focus and concentration through repetition • build confidence by exploring independently • regulate their emotions through calming, hands-on play • engage socially through shared exploration Most importantly, they are learning in a way that feels natural and meaningful to them. 🌼 Sensory Play at Daisy At Daisy, sensory play is not an extra activity, it is part of everyday learning. We create environments where children are free to explore, observe, and experiment at their own pace. Teachers gently support and extend learning, but always allow space for children to lead their own discoveries. Because before children can explain the world, they need to experience it. And sometimes, all it takes is a small pool of water, a block of ice, and a child who is curious enough to explore. Khunkru If30/04/2026DaisyPreschoolBKKDaisyPreschoolBKKTravel Around Thailand Week at Daisy (1/2) A joyful journey of culture, creativity, and hands-on learning This week at Daisy, our children embarked on a beautiful journey across Thailand through our special theme: “Travel Around Thailand.” ✨ Through play, sensory activities, food experiences, and storytelling, the children explored different regions of Thailand in a way that was meaningful, engaging, and age-appropriate. It was a week full of discovery, smiles, and proud little moments 💛 🌾 Exploring Each Region Through Play Each day, we “traveled” to a different part of Thailand, introducing children to local culture, traditions, and daily life. From the Central region, where children learned about rice and farming, to the South, where they explored natural materials and local flavors, every activity was designed to help them connect with the world around them in a hands-on way 🌏 🎨 Learning Through Experience One of the highlights of the week was our natural tie-dye activity inspired by Southern Thailand. The children used clips to create patterns on fabric and dyed them in turmeric water, watching in wonder as the cloth turned a beautiful golden yellow 💛 This activity not only sparked creativity but also introduced them to natural materials and traditional techniques in a simple and meaningful way. 🍽️ A Taste of Thailand Food played an important role in our journey. The children explored a variety of dishes and snacks from every region of Thailand, helping them build familiarity with different flavors and cultural experiences 🌏 During snack time, children used pretend money to “buy” food, practicing communication by using simple phrases like “Can I have…?” and “Thank you.” This encouraged both language development and social interaction in a fun, natural setting 😊 💬 Language & Communication Growth Throughout the week, we saw wonderful progress in the children’s communication skills. By engaging in role play, daily routines, and guided interactions, children practiced expressing their needs, copying new words, and building confidence in both English and Thai. These small everyday moments are powerful, helping children connect words with real experiences. 💦 Celebrating Songkran: A Joyful Ending We ended our journey with a Temple Fair & Songkran Celebration, one of the most exciting moments of the week! 🌼💦 The children participated in: • Ram Wong Songkran dance • Gently pouring water over the Buddha statue (introduced in a simple and respectful way) • A fun “street food market” experience • And of course, a joyful water play session to cool off in the summer heat! The day ended sweetly with a special Thai dessert, mango sticky rice 🥭 🌱 More Than Just a Theme At Daisy, we believe that learning happens best through experience, connection, and joy. “Travel Around Thailand” was not just about learning facts, it was about: • Building cultural awareness • Developing communication skills • Encouraging independence and confidence • Creating meaningful, happy memories 💛 A Week to Remember We are so proud of our children for their curiosity, participation, and growth throughout the week. It has been a truly heartwarming journey for all of us 🌼 Thank you to all our families for being part of this special experience. Our Fairy Tales Month is a special themed program designed to spark children’s imagination while nurturing their development through storytelling, play, and hands-on experiences. 📖 A World of Stories, A Month of Magic Each week, children are introduced to a beloved fairy tale, stories they may already love, and some they are discovering for the first time. From princesses and castles to brave heroes and magical forests, every story becomes a gateway to learning. But at Daisy, we don’t just read stories… We bring them to life. 🎨 Learning Through Play & Imagination Every activity is thoughtfully designed to connect with the weekly story, helping children engage deeply and meaningfully. Children will: • 🎭 Role-play characters to build confidence and communication • 🎨 Create art and crafts inspired by the story • 🧠 Develop thinking skills through problem-solving activities • 🤲 Explore sensory play that connects to story elements • 🏃‍♀️ Enjoy movement games that bring the storyline into their bodies For example, during Goldilocks and the Three Bears, children might explore textures, sizes, and sequencing through sensory bins and sorting activities. In Rapunzel, they may create long “hair” crafts while developing fine motor skills. 🌱 Supporting Holistic Development Our Fairy Tales Month is more than just fun but it supports key areas of early childhood development: • 💬 Language & Communication, through storytelling and expressive play • ❤️ Social & Emotional Growth, understanding feelings, empathy, and relationships • 🧩 Cognitive Skills, sequencing, memory, and creative thinking • ✋ Fine & Gross Motor Skills, through hands-on and movement-based activities 🏰 A Safe Space for Creativity At Daisy, we create a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe to express themselves, explore freely, and build confidence at their own pace. Our teachers guide each child with care, turning everyday moments into meaningful learning experiences and always with a touch of magic ✨ 💛 Why Parents Love It Parents often tell us how much their children: • Talk about the stories at home • Show increased confidence and imagination • Become more engaged in learning through play Fairy Tales Month is not just a theme, it’s an experience children carry with them long after the story ends. 🌼 Join the Magic at Daisy Let your child step into a world of imagination, creativity, and joyful learning. Surrounded by nature and imagination, this experience encourages creativity, social interaction, and a sense of wonder as little ones become part of their own fairy tale adventure. This week at Daisy, we explored the classic stories of Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks. To celebrate the end of our adventure, we will have a special picnic party where children can bring their favorite snacks to share with their friends. 🍓🧺 In this imaginative adventure, the children set off on a pretend picnic journey through a magical forest 🌿🧺. Along the way, they visited Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother’s house and explored the cozy home of the three bears. Before setting off on our forest adventure, the children prepared sandwiches to bring along for their visit to Grandma 🧺. They used their strong hands to mix the ingredients together and carefully spread the filling onto the bread. With a little help from the teachers, the sandwiches were then placed in the oven, ready to be enjoyed during their special picnic. This hands-on activity supports fine motor skills, independence, and a sense of accomplishment as children take part in preparing their own food 💛 The children designed their own story characters inspired by Little Red Riding Hood, using their own faces to make each character truly personal. Through this creative activity, they explored imagination, role play, and self-expression, while building a deeper connection to the story. It was a joyful moment where each child became a part of the fairy tale in their own special way ✨ And then, we were ready to head into the forest for our picnic day together 🧺💛. With happy hearts and curious minds, the children carried their homemade sandwiches and stepped into a world of imagination. Surrounded by nature and storytelling, they shared laughter, explored new spaces, and created meaningful memories with their friends, turning a simple picnic into a magical learning experience. A picnic in the forest is more than a journey, it’s where imagination, friendship, and learning come together. Khunkru If18/03/2026DaisyPreschoolBKKDaisyPreschoolBKKA Day Where Magic Comes to Life (1/2) And finally… the day we have all been waiting for has arrived. A day where we created a place where magic truly happens, where the stories we once read and loved as children, filled with princes, princesses, and royal castles, come to life once again. As children, many of us imagined ourselves as part of these fairy tales, using a towel or a piece of clothing to become a princess, creating entire worlds through imagination. In those small, magical worlds, anything was possible. Today, that same magic was brought to life at Daisy. The children expressed their imagination by dressing up as their favorite princes and princesses, surrounded by an environment transformed into scenes from a fairy tale. From a forest home inspired by the fairy who cares for Princess Aurora, to Daisy’s main house beautifully decorated into a royal castle, every detail invited the children into a magical experience. Together, we danced, decorated delicious cupcakes, and enjoyed a royal-style lunch. The children even had the chance to sit on the “royal throne,” bringing their fairy tale dreams to life in the most joyful way. In the afternoon, we continued with a gentle and beautiful Afternoon Tea Party in the garden, under the shade of trees and a soft breeze, enjoying the cupcakes they had made themselves. As the day came to an end, it was clear how deeply engaged and happy the children were. They listened with excitement, participated with curiosity, and built stronger connections with their teachers and friends throughout the day. At Daisy, we hope that experiences like this become meaningful memories, small but powerful foundations that shape how children see the world and believe in themselves. Khunkru If18/03/2026DaisyPreschoolBKKDaisyPreschoolBKKA Day Where Magic Comes to Life (2/2)18/03/2026DaisyPreschoolBKKDaisyPreschoolBKKFamily Week at Daisy At Daisy, we believe that understanding family is one of the most important foundations in early childhood. During Family Week, our focus was to help children recognize that family means love, no matter what it looks like. Through meaningful conversations, hands-on activities, and storytelling, our children discovered that every family is unique and special in its own way 🌈 📖 Learning Through Stories We introduced the storybook Love Makes a Family (by Sophie Beer), which beautifully illustrates many different types of families. Some families are big, some are small. Some children live with both parents, some with a single parent, and some with grandparents. After reading the story, we talked about our own families. The children shared who lives at home with them: mommy, daddy, siblings, grandparents, nanny, and even pets! This discussion helped children understand that what makes a family is not how it looks, but the love and care shared between its members 💛 🏀 Family Ball Hunt The children searched for balls with pictures of their family members attached. Once they found their “family balls,” they carefully walked along a line and delivered them to different places such as the market, the office, or Daisy. During this activity, wonderful conversations naturally happened: • “Daddy goes to the market.” • “Mommy goes to work.” • “I go to the market too!” The children began to see that cooperation and support are important parts of family life. “These moments allowed us to gently explain that every family member can have different roles and responsibilities. It is not only mommy who cooks or daddy who works and everyone can help in many different ways.” 🎭 Family Action Game Another highlight of the week was our Family Action Game. The children looked at picture cards showing different family members and their daily activities. They then posed and acted out the roles together. For example: • Mommy exercising 🧘‍♀️ • Daddy driving 🚗 • Grandma cooking 🍲 The children loved pretending and moving their bodies while acting out each role. Through this playful activity, they developed empathy and understanding of how each family member contributes at home. They learned that everyone has different responsibilities, and every role is important. Whether cooking, working, driving, exercising, or caring for others. Each action helps the family function with love and teamwork. 🖼️ Creating Our Family Photo Frames To conclude our week, the children created their own Family Photo Frames. They decorated their frames freely with creativity and joy. Each child included everyone who is important in their family, mommy, daddy, grandparents, siblings, nanny, and even pets. It was a beautiful reminder that family means something personal and unique to every child. 🌼 What We Learned Throughout Family Week, our children discovered that family means: • 💛 Love • 🤝 Helping • 🧡 Sharing • 🌷 Caring for one another We are incredibly proud of our children for confidently expressing their ideas, sharing their stories, and celebrating the uniqueness of every family. At Daisy, we nurture not only academic growth but also understanding, kindness, and respect for diversity starting from the very first place children learn about love: their family.23/02/2026DaisyPreschoolBKKDaisyPreschoolBKKWinter Wonderland Camp at Daisy Where imagination sparkles and learning feels magical Week 1: Welcome to Winter Village We began Winter Wonderland Week by introducing children to the concept of winter through the storybook “Snowy Place.” Through storytelling and discussion, children explored what winter feels like and looks like. Sensory play followed, using ice trays and coconut flakes to represent snow. Children experienced textures that were cold, melting, soft, and snowy, and some even used their imagination to pretend they were making ice cream. These simple experiences allowed children to explore science concepts and sensory awareness in a meaningful and playful way. Exploring Winter Through Play Throughout the week, children engaged in a wide variety of winter-themed activities designed to support creativity, problem-solving, and fine motor development. Activities included: • Painting igloos for Arctic animals • Decorating houses in our Winter Village • Rescuing animals trapped in ice • Sensory play with “fake snow” made from flour and baby oil Children also expressed their individuality by designing their own winter clothes. They chose items such as sweaters, hats, socks, and scarves, and decorated them freely using crayons, colored pencils, paper, and various art materials and celebrating creativity without limits. The Highlight: Winter Party Day The most anticipated day of the week was our Winter Party, a joyful celebration that brought all of our winter learning together. Children refueled at the Winter Snack Bar with hot chocolate, orange juice, water, and cookies before heading off to explore the Winter Clothing Shop and play areas. As the excitement grew, “snow” began to fall then created with sprinklers to mimic snowfall from the sky. Children enjoyed skiing down the mountain, sliding with buckets, and playing enthusiastically with water balloons, filling the day with laughter, movement, and pure joy. Winter Wonderland Journey Book Every day, each child has their own Winter Wonderland Journey Book. In this book, children draw or write about their day what they enjoyed, what they played with, or anything they would like to share. The book goes home every day so children can tell their stories and experiences to their parents This journey book captures moments from their day that they may not yet be able to explain fully in words. Through drawings and simple storytelling, children express their thoughts, feelings, and memories in their own way. Each day, they continue adding to their book, gradually building a meaningful record of their Winter Wonderland experience. A Week to Remember Winter Wonderland Camp was more than just a seasonal theme, it was a celebration of imagination, curiosity, and togetherness. Through play, children explored new experiences, built confidence, and created beautiful memories with their friends. At Daisy, learning is always joyful, meaningful, and magical, no matter the season 🤍 Khunkru If06/01/2026DaisyPreschoolBKKDaisyPreschoolBKKWinter Wonderland Camp at Daisy Week 2: Christmas Celebration Throughout the week, children explored Christmas through meaningful, play-based experiences. One of the key symbols of Christmas is Santa, and our learning journey unfolded across five days. We began by introducing Santa’s helpers, the elves, who work in Santa’s present factory. When the elves mysteriously disappeared, the children took on the role of helpers themselves, searching together to find them. The elves were eventually discovered resting in a garden tent, tired after making presents for so long. This activity encouraged imagination, teamwork, and problem-solving. On the following day, children searched for Santa and his reindeer and added them to a Christmas collection book, supporting storytelling, memory, and language development. Midweek, Daisy transformed into a Christmas Market where children learned how Christmas is celebrated around the world. Each child received Daisy Money to use at the market. They practiced reading menus, checking prices, making choices, and paying for items. Through this experience, children explored early concepts of exchange, money use, estimation, and problem-solving when funds were limited. Cultural inspiration continued with an Opera House corner, where children could perform music or movement inspired by different countries, and a book exchange corner inspired by Icelandic traditions, where children shared and exchanged books with friends. Christmas Party Christmas Day was celebrated with a joyful Christmas Party. Children enjoyed a movie experience at Daisy Cinema, complete with tickets, snacks, and choosing their own seats before watching Casper the Friendly Ghost. After the movie, children played games, made pizza together, and shared a special Christmas lunch. The week ended with Giving and Sharing Day, where children baked cookies to take home for their families and shared small snacks or gifts with friends, learning the true meaning of generosity and kindness. Week 2 of Winter Wonderland Camp was filled with joy, imagination, and meaningful learning experiences, creating warm memories and celebrating the spirit of Christmas in an inclusive and thoughtful way. Mother’s Day gave us a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the love, care, and warmth that mothers bring into our children’s lives every single day. We also shared a special time together, enjoying activities that encouraged creativity, connection, and appreciation. The children learned not only to express their love but also the value of gratitude and giving. At Daisy, we see every celebration as a chance to nurture children’s confidence, social skills, and emotional development. Mother’s Day was a beautiful reminder that love is the foundation for growth. To all the wonderful mothers in our Daisy family, thank you for your endless love, patience, and encouragement. You help your children bloom every day, and we are so grateful to be a part of their journey with you. Happy Mother’s Day. Khunkru If07/09/2025DaisyPreschoolBKKDaisyPreschoolBKKFriendship is Wonderful at Daisy At Daisy, we believe that friendship is one of the most important foundations for early childhood development. This week, the children celebrated the joy of friendship through play, creativity, and teamwork. The day began outdoors with the children running up the hill and enjoying games together. Through these active moments, they learned to cooperate, share space, and encourage one another, all key parts of building strong social connections. To deepen the theme of friendship, the children worked together on a special art project: creating a Friendship Tree. Each child added colorful handprints to represent the leaves, drew the stem, and helped fill in the design with bright colors. Finally, all of the leaves were placed together, forming one beautiful tree. This collaborative activity symbolized how every child contributes something unique, and when combined, they create something even more meaningful. The Friendship Tree now stands as a reminder that growing, playing, and learning together is what makes our Daisy community so special. At Daisy, we celebrate not only academic milestones but also the social and emotional skills that help children flourish. Friendship truly is wonderful, and we are proud to see our children learning how to build and nurture it every day. On the first day of this week, the children were full of energy as we sang a lively hello song with instruments and jumped straight into a favorite movement game, The Floor is Lava. The children were excited to follow the rules of the game, listening carefully for the countdown “5, 4, 3, 2, 1” before escaping from the lava. This playful activity not only encouraged movement but also helped develop listening skills, self-regulation, and memory. After the fun indoors, everyone went outside to continue the energetic play. Together we enjoyed a game called Fill in the Ball Pit. The children ran back and forth, putting balls into the pit again and again until it was completely full. Laughter, teamwork, and determination filled the playground as the children worked together to reach their goal. At Daisy, we believe in starting the week with activities that combine movement, creativity, and cooperation. These experiences give children the chance to explore, build friendships, and begin the week with excitement and joy. Children learn about the world around them through play, exploration, and discovery in the outdoors. Whether it is digging in the sand, splashing in water, or climbing near trees, every experience helps children develop curiosity, confidence, and an appreciation for the natural world. Our garden is full of opportunities for discovery. The children often spot squirrels, butterflies, and birds, or encounter insects they have never seen before. These moments spark wonder and questions, giving children the chance to learn about different creatures and how to live alongside them with care and respect. Through these experiences, the children not only build a love for nature but also learn important life skills. They discover how to keep themselves safe while playing, understand how to respect animals and plants, and develop resilience by exploring the world in a hands-on way. At Daisy, we encourage children to play with nature because we believe it helps them grow into curious, caring, and confident individuals who see the beauty in the wild world around them.
